Abstract

While the need for advanced real-time analytics continues to grow, it increasingly poses extreme, sometimes prohibitive, demands on compute infrastructure. Specifically, it often requires low latency, high throughput and scalability. First wave (CPU-based) and Second wave (GPU-based) data center infrastructure face key constraints that limit their ability to support advanced real-time analytics of streaming data. A third wave - using FPGA based accelerators - delivers required performance, but poses challenges relating to hardware integration, device programming and management and application integration. Megh Computing's mission is to enable this 3rd wave with FPGA-accelerator with full application integration and FPGA developer SDK framework to enable IP development.

Bio

Suchit Subhaschandra is one of the Co-Founders and Head of Engineering at Megh Computing. Before Megh, Suchit worked for Intel Corp for 17+ years are Senior Manager and Architect in Data Center Group. He was part of the team that led the research/pathfinding architecture work into Reconfigurable and Heterogeneous Computing on Intel Platforms. This eventually led to integration industries first Xeon+FPGA product and Intel's acquisition of Altera.
